Description

What is the nature and purpose of our dreams? Are they simply random strings of images from our daily lives? An attempt to carry out unfulfilled desires? A portal to something deeper? Throughout most of human history, cultures and religions all over the world have considered dreams to contain valuable wisdom and insight for life’s journey. Many traditions share the belief that they are messages from our deepest and truest Self, containing insight that is difficult for our conscious minds to accept. Dream interpretation can aid in our self-awareness and lead us toward greater self-actualization, and therefore is a valuable tool for growth and transformation.

This circle is suitable for anyone with a curiosity about dreams and a willingness to explore hidden, or “shadow,” aspects of themselves. It will provide participants with a basic understanding of Jungian psychology and dream analysis as well as a simple process to interpret the symbolism of one's own dreams. After going over content related to dream interpretation, the bulk of each meeting will consist of group dream-sharing and interpretation practice. Every dream circle is unique based on the people in the space and the dreams visiting them, so those who have already been in this class are welcome and encouraged to join again.

Intention of the Hive

When you join a Hive experience, you're invited into our intention to create a group experience that's inclusive, rooted in mindfulness, and dynamically relational. We aspire for each Hive experience to model these intentions, and even to refine them as we continue to learn how to gather in a way that's transformative! The embodiment of these intentions by Hive facilitators, Members, and class participants is what makes the Hive the unique and healing social container that many experience it to be.
