Description
Personal freedom and collective liberation are deeply intertwined with autonomy—the ability to make choices that align with our values, needs, and desires. Yet, choice is not just a mental process; it is an embodied experience, shaped by our nervous system, environment, and lived history.
Join us for this art-based exploration of embodied choice-making, using visual expression, sensory awareness, and creative practices to deepen our connection to regulation, creativity, and joy. By engaging with our five senses, we will uncover how choice manifests in our bodies and discover new ways to honor personal agency through artistic expression.
This experience invites you to reconnect with the power of choice—not just for yourself, but as part of a larger movement toward collective liberation. When we cultivate awareness and agency within, we create more possibilities for freedom in our communities.
This class is for you if:
You are curious about how art and somatic practices can help you connect with autonomy and choice.
You want to explore how sensory awareness influences your relationship with regulation and creativity.
You are seeking a supportive space to engage with creative expression and reflection.
You value personal agency and want to deepen your understanding of choice in an embodied way.
You are drawn to collective liberation and want to engage with practices that foster self-awareness and connection.
Intention of the Hive
When you join a Hive experience, you're invited into our intention to create a group experience that's inclusive, rooted in mindfulness, and dynamically relational. We aspire for each Hive experience to model these intentions, and even to refine them as we continue to learn how to gather in a way that's transformative! The embodiment of these intentions by Hive facilitators, Members, and class participants is what makes the Hive the unique and healing social container that many experience it to be.
