Description
As the trees loosen their leaves and the air turns crisp, autumn invites us to soften, release, and return to ourselves. Join Kateri Sparrow for a 90‑minute sound bath featuring quartz crystal singing bowls, tingsha, chimes, drum, gong, and voice—an immersive experience for deep relaxation and inner healing.
We’ll begin with centering breathwork and neuroaffective touch, a gentle somatic practice that helps integrate mind and body. Through intention, deliberate breathing, and meditation, we’ll create an inner field that can open the door to non‑ordinary states of awareness—no prior experience needed, no outside agents required. Just your breath, your presence, and the soothing vibrations of sound.
The frequencies of the bowls help the body release stagnant energy, making space for fresh, restorative movement through the mind, body, and spirit. As old patterns loosen—much like autumn leaves—new clarity and healing can circulate.
Participants are welcome to bring crystals or sacred items to be charged, as well as a journal for reflections. Please wear comfortable clothing and come ready to settle into the quiet wisdom of the season.
Intention of the Hive
When you join a Hive experience, you're invited into our intention to create a group experience that's inclusive, rooted in mindfulness, and dynamically relational. We aspire for each Hive experience to model these intentions, and even to refine them as we continue to learn how to gather in a way that's transformative! The embodiment of these intentions by Hive facilitators, Members, and class participants is what makes the Hive the unique and healing social container that many experience it to be. More About the Facilitators
Kateri Sparrow
has participated in the formal study of integral sound healing techniques, vibro-acoustic massage, and she is a certified practitioner of sound therapies. Kateri has been working as an end of life caregiver and as an activities director for a private nursing home. It is in the nursing home that she discovered the impact of music therapy and sound healing with the residents while leading her own music programs and working with music therapists. Kateri noted the powerful release of tension and boost in mood not only for the residents, but also for the caregivers. It was these experiences that brought Kateri to explore sound as medicine.
