Daniel Hughes

Hive Core Faculty

Born and raised in Northwest Ohio, Daniel Hughes is a passionate advocate dedicated to fostering inclusivity and driving positive change through faith, mindfulness, anti-racism, group facilitation, and community organizing. He holds a BA from Bluffton University and an MA from Bowling Green State University.

Daniel believes that unleashing the power of unity by bridging gaps and breaking barriers across diverse communities will build a world where acceptance thrives and positive transformation blooms. Daniel uses his education in communication and organizing for the Future Change Makers Movement.

With The Hive, Daniel founded Courage to Connect alongside Troy Bronsink. Courage to Connect is a Hive curriculum that exists to free organizations and individuals from internal addictions to racism in order to co-create the common good.

Facilitator Focuses:

  • Community organizing

  • Organizational communication and media literacy

  • Somatic abolitionism for anti-racist social transformation
